Blue Sky Property Inspections provided an excellent inspection of the home my husband and I are buying. Leanne McCormack and Mike Murphy spent considerable time checking every aspect of the house, including its structure, electricity, plumbing, insulation, windows, and roof. Their careful investigation uncovered minor leakage from the roof that was invisible to the eye and small places where water had damaged the wood frame that we would not have noticed. Mike and Leanne did an excellent job on my home inspection,they even came back to check on work that was supposed to be done before the inspection but wasn't ,for no extra charge. They explained in detail the report with full

Mike and Lee are the BEST. In a crazy busy time to buy homes upstate, I was given a list of inspection companies to call - with a note, stating that these guys give the best and most thorough report. So I called, Mike called back the same day, and scheduled me for a home inspection; that almost was a sign from the realtor gods! Because our tentative scheduled inspection date, was the morning after my offer was accepted. Mike worked with my realtor to inspect the home, and in less than two days, I was sent an extremely thorough, with pictures and details, home report. After reading through it, I had a few specific questions, to which, I sent Mike an email - he answered almost immediately, with clarity and examples. This back-and-forth happened a couple of times, as I kept having questions, and Mike kept answering, patiently. Upon my final email of questions, Mike not only sent a response, but he and Leanne, called me, to walk me through the answers, and help calm my nerves as a first time home buyer. I couldn't be happier with the connection that I was lucky enough to make with these two. And I would highly, highly recommend using their services if you are buying a home in the area! They are both so thoughtful, funny and sweet as well as very serious about the task at hand - getting you a report on your home that shows the state that it is in. Thank you Mike and Lee! We were moving across the country to a small town with very few homes for sale, and had no option but to buy our first home without seeing it in-person. We knew that we needed the best Inspectors possible, and after reviewing their website , decided to go with BlueSky. I am SO glad we did! Mike and Leanne were so easy to communicate with, prompt, and thorough to the point that we felt totally comfortable buying the home without seeing it. Their report had SO many photos and their work was so thorough and detailed. They used a drone to examine the roof and immediately found multiple roof leaks (which we were able to get repaired asap because of them!). Furthermore, it was too cold to test the AC that day, so Mike came back months later to test it after we moved in. I am so glad we got to meet Mike in person because he was such a cool guy. During the cooling test he answered countless questions and taught us so much about our new home. I would recommend this company to absolutely anyone looking for a home inspection. 10/10.
